Meet Ricky Booth

Deep Roots in Osceola County

Ricky was raised right here in Osceola. Now he and his wife, Erika, are raising their family here. He has committed himself through service to making our great community even better. He has worked hard to protect our agricultural and environmental lands, control growth while expanding transportation infrastructure, ensure that college and trade schools are accessible and affordable for all Osceola high school graduates, support our law enforcement officers and first responders, and keep taxes low. Ricky Booth is asking for your vote on or before August 20th so we can keep moving Osceola forward.

priorities

Control growth

Ricky Booth has voted NO on thousands of residential units in our district and is committed to continuing to fight development before transportation infrastructure is in place. He supports the substantial mobility fee being imposed on new development and led the effort for a moratorium on commercial land use changes to residential.

support public safety

The County has constructed 3 new fire stations, since Booth took office and gave the largest raise on record to our Osceola Firefighters. He knows our law enforcement officers and first responders keep us safe and we need to be able to recruit and retain these fine men and women that put their life on the line for us.

protect our natural resources

Since Ricky took office thousands more acres of land in Osceola have been put into conservation and hundreds more have been purchased for parks. He understands that the work we do now to      prevent development around our lakes and keep our water clean will have an impact on the generations to come.

Educating our future

Booth has been a champion for the Osceola Prosper program which provides our high school graduates the opportunity to receive a college education or learn a trade. He is building our future workforce today!
